Pretty Aesthetic Black Marble Wallpape!

Black marble is something that I felt was so unique. Give that with a touch of gold accent and I think that right there would be the most aesthetic pattern!

The other day, I came across this video on YouTube on this ultra luxury and house that had a black marble theme with gold accents. The kitchen cabinets and the island countertop really made it pop and I thought that it was the prettiest colour combination of colours! 

I was also thinking, how are marbles made. Are they rock? Are they some techy creating of mixing coloured dyes to rocks? What are they?

So, here is what I found!!

Large blocks of stone are cut from the quarry. Thin slabs are further cut from there which are then shaped and polished and shipped!

Polishers grind down the naturally rough surface of the stone to whatever finish the consumer desires. Hard stones like marble and granite can be polished all the way to a mirror finish. The polisher consists of rotating pads which are surfaced with an abrasive substance. The finer and smaller the abrasive grits are, the higher the polish. Most modern polishers can produce a variety of finishes, from the smooth, soft look of a honed finish to a slick, shiny mirror finish… even decorative finishes like flamed tumbled or hammered!
